Q&A: Should I eat a smoked brisket that was not refrigerated for 7 hours after it was cooked?

Question by Sunshine: Should I eat a smoked brisket that was not refrigerated for 7 hours after it was cooked?
My boss got us all smoked briskets but his wife told his secretary not to give them to us the day they were delivered, still warm from cooking. She was supposed to freeze them, but kept them in the back of her SUV for 7 hours in 55 degree weather before she got off work. Am I wrong to not want mine now?
