Question by Josh F: Can you tell me the bbq sauce recipe for Lil' Porgys BBQ in Champaign/Urbana IL?
The best bbq sauce I've ever had has come from a bbq place in Champaign/Urbana IL called Lil' Porgys BBQ whose motto is 'incredibly good because we cook on wood.' I need their recipe! I haven't been able to find any really great sauce recipes that come close to theirs. It tastes like it might have something with apple in it. Anyone know what it is? Or have something that would come close?
