Question by Underdog: Quintessential Texan chili or barbecue sauce recipe?
I'm going to Louisiana soon. I know that spicy foods are a big part of Texan and Louisianan culture, but the two are very different. I'm hoping to share the taste of Texas, and I suppose one of the best ways would be to make some of my favourite food group: chile, barbecue sauce, salsa, hot sauce etc. If I were to only pick one recipe, what would be the perfect recipe to share Texan culture with my Louisianan friends?
